NET ZERO 2040 COMMITMENT AND TARGET BOUNDARY
The Company has set a target to achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2035 and Net Zero Emissions by 2040. These targets are driven through the use of clean energy, production efficiency improvement, the promotion of the circular economy, and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions across all processes.
The Company has set targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 945.00 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO₂e) for Scope 1 and Scope 2, and 3,087.00 tCO₂e for Scope 3. The Company has also developed an action plan to reduce its own greenhouse gas emissions by at least 90.00% from the 2018 base year by the 2040 target year.
FPI established greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets with reference to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) framework. Under the SBTi Corporate Near-Term Criteria, near-term science-based targets are required to have a target year within 5–10 years from the date of submission for validation.
To support continuous implementation and progress tracking, FPI structured its GHG reduction pathway into successive reduction cycles. Cycle 1 covered 2018–2023, using 2018 as the base year, while Cycle 2 covers 2024–2028 and represents the Company’s current GHG reduction phase.
Note: "GHG Emissions without REC " refers to the GHG emissions that the company has offset through the purchase of RECs.
Under this pathway, FPI set GHG reduction targets against the 2018 base year of 25.2% by 2024 for Cycle 1 and 42% by 2028 for Cycle 2. By the end of 2024, FPI had achieved an approximately 48% reduction in GHG emissions, significantly exceeding the Cycle 1 target of 25.2% and, at the same time, surpassing the Cycle 2 target of 42% set for 2028 four years ahead of schedule. FPI further improved its performance in 2025, achieving an approximately 52% reduction compared with the 2018 base year.
Despite having surpassed its 2028 Cycle 2 target ahead of schedule, FPI remains committed to sustaining and further advancing its GHG reduction performance. The Company will continue implementing key GHG reduction initiatives to maintain this progress and support the transition toward the Company’s long-term Net Zero pathway.
The company has set a target to reduce Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions from 611 in 2024 to 479 by 2028 (an overall reduction of 21.6%).

Green CAPEX and Decarbonization Investment
FPI has established a long-term decarbonization pathway using 2018 as the greenhouse gas base year, with baseline emissions of 40,323 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent. The Company aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by 2040, while its first-phase reduction target is to achieve a 42% reduction by 2028 compared with the 2018 base year.
To support the implementation of this first-phase greenhouse gas reduction target, FPI has allocated a Green CAPEX budget of THB 200 million for the 2018–2028 period. The investment focuses on projects that contribute to energy efficiency, greenhouse gas reduction, renewable and low-carbon technologies, and improvements in production processes aligned with the Company’s decarbonization pathway.
